The crunch in this jar is unreal—every spoonful has that deep Sichuan tingle and a texture that actually holds up whether I'm stirring it into noodles or just ladling it over rice. The extra crispy bits are the star, and the heat builds just enough to keep you coming back for more.
I’ve been eating it straight off a spoon every time I pass the pantry, which is saying a lot since I usually ration my hot sauces. The crunch really does live up to the name, and the umami heat builds nicely without burning your mouth off.
It's crunchy and the chili flavor comes through strong, but it's not really as spicy as I expected. I'll finish the jar, just wish there was a bit more depth to the umami part.
