The layout makes it easy to flip between the restaurant picks and the recipe pages, and I already tried the dan dan noodles – they turned out surprisingly close to what I had in Chengdu. It’s a bit pricey for a PDF, but the depth of the guide makes up for it.
The Chengdu guide is genuinely well-researched—the eating and drinking spots feel curated by someone who actually lives there, not just a tourist list. I've already planned my whole itinerary around it. Only wish the ebook included a printable map, since I'll be juggling screens on the go.
